Explainability began with a request we kept hearing from the investment teams using our AI-based Signals: show us the reasoning behind the forecast. We listened, and the result is now live on Axyon IRIS for every client with access to our Signals.

Clients have nothing to install or configure, just log in with the existing credentials and open the Explainability tab in Axyon IRIS.

What sits behind every signal

For each daily signal, Explainability breaks down the forecast into the drivers that shaped it. You can see which forces are pushing a stock up the ranking and which are holding it back.

Built on SHAP-based attribution, the view translates complex model outputs into an intuitive driver of prediction. You can identify which inputs contributed positively to an asset’s ranking, which detracted from it and how strongly each driver influenced the result.

This context helps investment professionals determine when a signal supports greater conviction and when a change deserves closer examination.

From rank to reasoning in three steps

1. Start with the rank. Pick a stock from your signal universe and see where it stands today.
2. Isolate the drivers. Switch individual drivers on and off to see how much each one contributes, and how that contribution has shifted over your chosen period.
3. Compare side by side. Add comparable companies and test the same forces across them, so you can see whether a driver is specific to one name or shared across its peers.
